No, It’s Cool Everyone; Some White Guy Told Me Racism is Dead

So, I don’t mean to over-excite you, but we did it! Racism is no more.

Before you roll your eyes and ask me where my source is, I will have you know that LoneWolf2212 and MAGAman7777 both set me straight on the internet the other day. They said that racism is dead, slain by Martin Luther King and his ability to smile and adorn people with daisy chains in the face of adversity. I was advised that Martin Luther King would be ashamed of recent talks of racism, because he was very peaceful and kind, and he knitted sweaters for all of the white people who spit on and abused him and his fellow protesters. White people loved him for this so much, in fact, that they sent a bullet to hug his left eye! I really need to get my history straight, it seems.

This all has to be true, because both LoneWolf and MAGAman had profile photos where they were wearing dark sunglasses and an American flag shirt, and they were sitting in the front seats of their trucks. Liars don’t drive trucks, y’all. So I guess everything is healed.

Apparently, all this time we had it wrong: racism wasn’t systemic at all. It was just burning crosses and sitting in the back of the bus and people using really mean names. But you know…now that people have to use those names in private and might get in trouble for the other things if…
